JNE fixes an ineffective system and enhances wastewater treatment capabilities
April 11, 2014 — A local food ingredient manufacturer was having difficulty in getting their wastewater treatment system operating efficiently. They were not receiving adequate service from their existing chemical and equipment supplier; service that was needed to solve the issue and therefore this local food ingredient manufacturer was willing to listen to the suggestions of JNE Environmental.
During the first meeting with the client; and before JNE even reviewed the process, it was clear that their existing DAF was not working efficiently. JNE documented recommendations for a retrofit of their DAF pump onto the client’s existing DAF unit, and developed a more cost effective chemical formulation using JNE 281 and JNE 3003.
Within six weeks of receiving the purchase order for the retrofit, the new pump and modifications were installed by JNE and operated efficiently.
There was an immediate improvement in total suspended solids removal. These instantaneous results convinced plant management to switch over to JNE Environmental chemicals. Not only is the system running more efficiently and effectively, this plant is now capable of considering expansion without concern for their wastewater treatment plant’s capability.
Just like all JNE Environmental clients, they receive regular visits, every two weeks, from a JNE field technician to ensure that the system remains stable and operating efficiently, which allows them to focus more time on their core business. Creating and maintaining a satisfied, happy customer is always JNE Environmental’s goal, whether it be through the supply of a completely new system or leveraging technical service capability and fine tuning an existing one – as in this particular situation.
