New Coagulant Maximizes DAF Performance and Reduces Waste Removal Costs
JNE Environmental’s JNE 2890 wastewater treatment coagulant is specifically designed to maximize the performance of Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems while reducing waste removal costs.
March 27, 2017 — At the forefront of wastewater treatment technology, JNE Environmental is continuously developing new products and chemistries to help treat our customers’ wastewater. A prime example of this is the newly developed JNE 2890 coagulant. JNE 2890 has been specifically engineered to increase efficiency and reduce the overall cost of Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) based systems. JNE 2890 has unique additives that produce smaller flocculated particles, enabling better dewatering of the sludge blanket in DAF application, resulting in sludge that is higher in solids content and lighter in water. This is hugely beneficial as eliminating water weight from sludge helps lower the overall cost of disposal. In addition to improving DAF performance and saving costs by reducing sludge volumes, JNE 2890 continues to provide excellent removal of insoluble Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), phosphorous, and Fats, Oils, and Greases (FOG).
JNE Environmental has an entire line of engineered coagulants, flocculants, pH correction, and dewatering chemicals to both enhance the performance of your wastewater treatment system and reduce overall operating costs, across many industries.
