April 3, 2017 — Accurate dilution of solid polymer and flocculent is extremely important to optimizing the performance of any wastewater treatment system.  JNE Environmental has developed a very cost effective dry polymer make down and preparation unit.  This system is fully automatic and can prepare 1,000 litres of properly mixed and aged polymer every 2.5 hours with an accuracy of +/- 0.0002% by weight.

The unit comes complete with:

  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI)
  • Dry Polymer Feeder
  • Load Cell
  • Wetting Cone
  • Polymer Aging/Activation Tank
  • Run Tank

The system can run fully automatically and will keep the run tank full of aged and activated polymer blended to the end user’s requirements.  The system can be scaled to accurately produce almost any amount of prepared polymer required, reducing waste, while virtually eliminating the need for an operator and lowering manual labour costs.  Additional functionality includes super sac polymer dispensing capability as well as larger activation and run tanks.
