May 5, 2021 — JNE Automation, your team of experts in automated control systems, is celebrating 20 years in business!

Founded in May 2001, JNE Automation was created to support the selection, design and implementation of cutting edge automation control systems for industrial clients.  This marked JNE’s first expansion into a larger group of companies, paving the way for JNE Chemicals (now JNE Environmental) and JNE Power, and Triple Crown Enterprises under the JNE Group of Companies banner.

The JNE Automation division began with a small team operating out of an office in Hamilton, Ontario which  quickly expanded with additional talent to keep up with the increasing project opportunities.  Many of these early projects were completed for local steel manufacturers.  In-house panel shop capabilities were introduced in 2004, followed by the opening of remote offices to support major projects and partnerships around the world.

For 20 years, JNE Automation has partnered with world-class companies and suppliers in various industries, bringing the latest technology and automation techniques to our clients, and developing new automation applications.  Among these projects is Canada’s first fully automated coil storage warehouse; the development of global standardized control system processes for a major consumer products manufacturer; and, through a partnership with NuPro Corporation, a state-of-the-art, fully automated tapping system for basic oxygen furnaces.

JNE Automation continues to push the boundaries of automation to help our clients achieve safer, more efficient, and higher quality operations.  We are working closely with industry leaders on modern initiatives such as digitization, digital transformation, analytics, and remote operations on an international scale.  We are excited for the continued support of our valued clients, and eagerly anticipate the next challenges our future holds.
