Flexible Work Environment
Our lives today are busy and complicated. Many people are required to work non-traditional times to accommodate for personal situations. At JNE we strive to offer flexibility to our people to ensure they can string a work-life balance that meets their individual needs, while also meeting the needs of our clients.
Career Pathing
Many new recruits begin their careers as Engineers in Training or drafts people, but there are many career options available through internal development and on-the-job training.
Co-Ops and New Grads
We recruit talented, qualified candidates who share our values and work ethic. Mentorship is provided to new graduates during the early days of transition into the workforce, and set a strong technical foundation to begin their career. Our technical teams are encouraged to work across disciplines to better understand the total needs of the project, and round out their knowledge.
Training
All employees are educated on our operations and procedures during the orientation process. We also offer ongoing training, both in class and on the job, to build the skills our clients need to execute their projects. New technologies and approaches are used when feasible to improve our services. We also train our teams on the latest Health and Safety regulations to ensure safety for all remains at the forefront of our operations.
Social Responsibility
JNE fosters a culture of community involvement from all of our employees. Every year, we host numerous fundraising events to benefit local organizations, from semi-monthly potlucks and summer barbecues to sports teams and golf tournaments. We like to give back to our communities while having fun, socializing, and building team spirit.
