In 2018, an advanced materials and specialty chemicals company contracted JNE to execute engineering and site support services for the design of a new fumigants cylinder filling facility in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This new facility would allow for the filling, storage and shipment of fumigant cylinders. Included in the design were a small lunchroom/washroom for the operator and laboratory space for gas analysis. Additionally, a septic bed was added to house the wastewater produced from the lunchroom/washroom.

JNE was responsible for the engineering design, the building permit application and the septic permit application. JNE also provided construction support throughout the installation process.

The size of the building changed many times as the client process was not complete and was changing throughout the life of the project. Despite the incomplete information, JNE was able to work on a tight schedule to produce the drawings in time for the contractor bid and construction.
