CO2 pH Correction
When liquid acid based pH correction isn’t an option, JNE’s RPH series is up to the task.
In some cases like specialized construction or food grade applications, industrial liquid acids (hydrochloric or sulfuric acids) are not available or their use is prohibitive. As an alternative to these products, JNE has developed the RPH series of pH reduction systems.
Inside the specialized chamber, Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is injected and dissolved into a recycle wastewater stream from the main process. A remote pH sensor and included controller cycles the gas system to lower the pH in the primary wastewater stream.
