Established in Ontario, Canada in 1980, “JNE” began as “Joe Ng Engineering Ltd.,” founded primarily to serve the steel industry.
The company experienced significant growth throughout the 1980s, expanding its range of professional engineering services for public and industrial clients, and branching out into China with industrial projects that included refinery re-locations and coal gasification projects.
In 1994, the company restructured to reflect the expansion of its consulting division with the formation of JNE Consulting Ltd., established as a full-service, multi-disciplinary engineering services firm serving a wide range of industries. Over time, our other niche companies emerged under the umbrella of The JNE Group of Companies, offering a diversified range of professional engineering services to industries worldwide.
Today, The JNE Group of Companies encompasses JNE Consulting, JNE Automation, JNE Power, JNE Environmental, and Triple Crown Enterprises (TCE), employing hundreds of professionals worldwide with teams comprised of engineers, technologists, designers, construction managers, and many more. Though our family has grown significantly, we remain steadfast in our core values of integrity, respect, diversity, and reliability.
Our global headquarters are in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and our United States headquarters are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
