About the Role
As a Senior Revit Designer, you will play a key role in creating high-quality models and construction drawing packages for structural steel and concrete designs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing critical insights and delivering designs that meet client and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Revit models for building foundations and complex equipment foundations.
- Model structural steel components, including industrial buildings, equipment/service supports, and access structures.
- Prepare detailed construction drawing packages for concrete and steel structures.
- Define the modeling and drawing creation approach for large-scale projects.
- Utilize Revit Structural Software to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Apply knowledge of structural steel and concrete design and detailing practices.
- Incorporate industrial design principles into project execution.
- Work with engineers and designers in both single-discipline and multi-discipline environments.
- Independently manage smaller projects and tasks.
- Update leads on project progress and estimate work completion timelines.
- Perform site visits and fieldwork as required.
- Ensure alignment with industrial project requirements, including layout, functionality, vendor coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and client expectations.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Advance Steel.
- Experience with other 3D modeling software.
- Knowledge of point cloud technology and its applications.
- Ability to execute projects in brownfield and existing facilities.
- Experience with architectural design and layout for industrial buildings and offices.
- Familiarity with site plans, grading, and drainage.
- Previous experience in the steel industry.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- High school diploma required; college-level diploma preferred or equivalent work experience.
