These industries use water to remove ground material, cool and lubricate machinery, and control dust. UPEI will Confer Four Honorary Degrees at Convocation
The University of Prince Edward Island will confer honorary degrees on four outstanding citizens, Wayne D. Gray, Nona Macdonald Heaslip, James Carter and Joe Ng, at two convocations on Saturday, May 10, in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.

Joseph Ng, President of Hamilton-based JNE Consulting Limited and Michael Pley, President of Cambridge-based COM DEV Space and a McMaster Engineering alumnus, were recognized for their contributions to engineering, the community and McMaster University at the third annual Applause and Accolades Awards Gala on May 3.
JNE Consulting receives Ironman Award
The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce hosted its Outstanding Business Achievement Awards on March 30 at Michelangelo’s Banquet Centre in Hamilton. The guest speaker for the evening was Ron Buist, inventor of the famous “Roll Up the Rim to Win” campaign.
