Pilot Plant Automation and Upgrades
Continuously looking to improve our products, we identified an opportunity to automate our wastewater treatment pilot plant, reducing the required labour to maintain efficient operation. We also installed mixed reaction tanks below the existing plug flow reactor and made the various chemical reaction systems selectable via a tee branch system.
Solar panel assembly plant to be built in Hamilton
An Ontario company is forming a joint venture with a Chinese partner that will create up to 300 jobs at a solar panel assembly plant in Hamilton. JNE Consulting and Chinese-based Daqo Group Co. Ltd., are building the $5 million project, expected to be completed within two years. JNE signed the agreement during its recent visit to China as part of an Ontario trade mission featuring companies in construction and engineering.
Joint venture between Fielding and JNE in China
Ellen McGregor, President of Fielding Chemical Technologies Inc. and Joe Ng, President of JNE Consulting are excited to announce that their two companies have joined forces to sell turnkey solvent recovery and refrigerant reclamation plants in China. The joint venture – called Fielding JNE – will design, build and commission plants, and will provide the expertise required to responsibly manage chemical and refrigerant wastes.
UPEI will Confer Four Honorary Degrees at Convocation
The University of Prince Edward Island will confer honorary degrees on four outstanding citizens, Wayne D. Gray, Nona Macdonald Heaslip, James Carter and Joe Ng, at two convocations on Saturday, May 10, in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.
