JNE Consulting provided the Brampton Chrysler Assembly Plant with the design for an electro-kinetic flotation unit for the removal of residual clear coat overspray in the clear coat recirculation tank. The system includes 4,250 amp electrodes that are mounted via guide posts on the bottom of the clear coat recirculation tank. These electrodes are powered from a JNE Automation supplied panel containing the controls and the power supplies. The whole system is controlled by a JNE Automation PLC which monitors water quality, flow and atmospheric hydrogen.
