Introducing the JNE Experiential Learning Fund at McMaster University

In September, JNE Consulting and McMaster University established the JNE Experiential Learning Fund.

This is an initiative to provide students within the Introduction to Civil Engineering course the opportunity to engage in hands-on, real-world learning experiences. This announcement coincides with the 25th anniversary of JNE’s establishment of the Endowed Chair in Civil Engineering at McMaster’s Faculty of Engineering.
“We in Civil Engineering are very excited about this continuing partnership with JNE. This fund is a game-changer in our ability to provide McMaster students with a high-quality, hands-on experiential learning experience,” says Lydell Wiebe, Chair of Civil Engineering, McMaster University.

John Ng was joined by four recent McMaster Engineering alumni — Lucas Cadete, Paavani Joshi, Maya Carducci, and Dhwani Rao — who reflected on their time at McMaster and how their experiences have helped shape their careers.

“This is an exciting opportunity to support an initiative that enhances student engagement and brings them closer to real-world engineering.”
