JNE at the OSPE Engineering Conference 2022
Representatives of the JNE Group of Companies attended the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) Engineering Conference in Ottawa, Ontario on November 3, 2022. The event, Canada's largest forum for engineering, diversity, and recruitment, was a fantastic opportunity to connect with young professionals, students, and subject matter experts in the engineering industry.

Commissioning a Standardized Treatment System at Organic Waste Processing Plant
Most restaurants and factories have grease traps and interceptors, sump pits, and sludge waste holding tanks. These traps and tanks are emptied and cleaned out on a regular basis by vacuum trucks that offload at a central processing plant. JNE Environmental supplied equipment and chemicals to create a standardized treatment system at a series of these plants.
Processing Stoppage at Soil Remediation Facility is Averted
JNE Environmental was contacted late one evening by a major environmental remediation company due to a processing failure that was resulted in the inability to discharge water. We provided two technical experts for after-hours emergency support within 1 hour to review the situation and develop a treatment strategy to address the unacceptable performance.Â
Cutting Costs on Cutting and Drilling Fluids Disposal
Cutting and drilling fluids contain a variety of oils and emulsifiers that make wastewater difficult to treat once the fluid is no longer usable. As a result, fluids are often disposed of as hazardous waste, incurring high operating costs to your company. JNE Environmental has developed a process that allows you to treat this wastewater at your own plant, leading to significant cost savings.Â

JNE to present at AU Las Vegas 2019
In November 2019, JNE will be presenting at AU Las Vegas — Autodesk’s premiere North American conference. JNE’s presentation, an instructional demo on 3D multi-disciplinary plant engineering, was selected from over 2,400 applications. This is a tremendous opportunity for JNE to share our knowledge of 3D software and applications on a world-class stage.
Overcoming Obstacles to Treat Ultrapure Water in Automotive Manufacturing
JNE Environmental has a lot of history and experience with fluoride removal techniques from wastewater in the automotive sector; however, the wastewater from this particular client is unique in that their wastewater stream is actually ultrapure water. Ultrapure water poses a challenge because, at this purity, the water behaves like a solvent making it difficult to remove targeted impurities, such as fluoride.
