JNE at the OSPE Engineering Conference 2022
Representatives of the JNE Group of Companies attended the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) Engineering Conference in Ottawa, Ontario on November 3, 2022. The event, Canada's largest forum for engineering, diversity, and recruitment, was a fantastic opportunity to connect with young professionals, students, and subject matter experts in the engineering industry.
pH Correction System Minimizes Chemical Consumption
A major North American steel manufacturer needed a pH correction system to neutralize alternating acid and caustic streams generated by the de-ionization plant. JNE Environmental designed and supplied a large batch system that allowed this client to take advantage of the alternating caustic waste and acid, to minimize chemical consumption.
JNE Helps One of the Big Three
One of the big three automakers contacted JNE regarding a newly developed paint booth water treatment system, looking for someone to build the very first production unit. The JNE Group of Companies were a natural fit with engineering expertise in all of the required fields: mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, automation, and wastewater treatment.
DAF Unit Pre-Treats Wastewater
JNE Environmental has successfully designed and commissioned a new wastewater treatment system for a company that collects and refines used oil. Prior to JNE Environmental’s involvement, the recycling plant was struggling with high phosphate, TKN and BOD levels produced by their existing wastewater treatment process.
JNE Cracks Egg-Cracking Wastewater Problem
After many years of struggling with their wastewater, an egg cracking facility located north of Guelph, Ontario enlisted the help of JNE Environmental to crack their wastewater treatment problem. After performing onsite jar testing and developing, and being presented with a very economically competitive formulation of JNE Environmental’s products, the client purchased an entire wastewater treatment design and processing system.
JNE’s Inaugural Movember Challenge
Our team at JNE set out to raise awareness about some of the biggest health issues faced by men, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention by growing our moustaches throughout the month of November. Through this initiative we have learned more about each other, sharing stories and experiences, and we are stronger for it.
JNE Consulting Provides Mentorship and Sponsorship to MEC 2018
The McMaster Engineering Competition (MEC) is a two day competition that gives undergraduate students from McMaster University a chance to demonstrate engineering skills in a competitive environment, as well as receive the professional counsel of mentors from a variety of companies. In addition to sponsoring the event, two JNE team members participated on the judging panels of the Consulting and Re-Engineering categories.
New Office Grand Opening in Livonia, Michigan!
JNE Consulting celebrated a new milestone earlier this month with the grand opening of a multi-discipline engineering office in Livonia, Michigan. The grand opening was a great opportunity to formally introduce our new local team members to clients in the area, establishing new connections while celebrating our existing client relationships.
