Made in Canada: New Coagulants for Improved Wastewater Treatment Chemistry
JNE Environmental is excited to announce the development of our very own line of engineered wastewater treatment coagulants manufactured in-house with both Canadian and internationally sourced raw feedstocks.
Fixing an ineffective system and enhancing treatment capabilities
A local food ingredient manufacturer was having difficulty in getting their wastewater treatment system operating efficiently and was not receiving adequate service from their existing chemical and equipment supplier JNE recommended a retrofit of their DAF pump onto the client's existing DAF unit, and developed a more cost effective chemical formulation using our custom chemical solutions.
Pilot plant sets pace for difficult wastewater treatment
One of JNE Environmental’s more challenging clients is a grease trap collection and organic waste processor. Prior to JNE Environmental’s involvement, the client struggled with developing a suitable wastewater treatment process, due to the constantly changing incoming wastewater. JNE Environmental and the client spent many months testing different formulations and dosages before finalizing the system design.
Creating a new, portable wastewater solution
The new containerized wastewater treatment plant (CWWTP) is installed in a former refrigerated shipping container to provide an insulated structure with access doors, roll up doors, heating and ventilation. This container is fully pre-piped and wired with a JNE Environmental controller and can be installed anywhere.
System redesign achieves sewer bylaw compliance
A local food producer was struggling with high levels of phosphate in their wastewater until they commissioned a system redesign by JNE Environmental. JNE spent almost a month custom developing a new product, JNE 2020, which works in conjunction with products JNE 281 and JNE 3003, and is capable of consistently meeting the city sewer bylaw for phosphate discharge.
Steel Plant — Excavation and Shoring Progress
A unique advantage of working with The JNE Group of Companies is the close collaboration between our engineering and construction teams. This project, a JNE Consulting and Triple Crown Enterprises (TCE) joint effort, sees these teams working together to complete the design and construction of massive equipment foundations for a steel plant, including excavation, shoring, piling, and concrete work.
Automated Polymer Make-Down Units Improve Wastewater Treatment Efficiency
An environmental and sustainability solutions group approached JNE Environmental to supply two PM-2000 polymer make-down units as components to a larger wastewater treatment system. JNE Environmental was selected for the project because of the smaller physical footprint of our units, as well as very competitive cost.
Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2018
Big Brothers Big Sisters' Bowl for Kids' Sake is an occasion that draws friends, family, and co-workers together for an evening of bowling in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs for local children and youth facing adversities. By raising funds from various other company events throughout the year, JNE was able to sponsor three teams to participate in this year's event.
