Coming clean about soapy wastewater treatment

What happens to soapy water after it goes down the drain? The events of the past two years have seen everyone keeping clean by thoroughly washing their hands and constantly rinsing with soapy water. But how do you clean the water that is used for cleaning? JNE Environmental was approached to solve this exact problem.

System redesign achieves sewer bylaw compliance

A local food producer was struggling with high levels of phosphate in their wastewater until they commissioned a system redesign by JNE Environmental. JNE spent almost a month custom developing a new product, JNE 2020, which works in conjunction with products JNE 281 and JNE 3003, and is capable of consistently meeting the city sewer bylaw for phosphate discharge.

DAF unit replacement supports major plant expansion

A local waste oil recycling plant has recently purchased another FS-30 to replace an existing DAF unit to support a major plant expansion. Prior to this purchase they used a JNE Environmental FS-30 DAF to pre-treat their wastewater through the use of JNE 3111C dewatering polymer, and then through the use of JNE 709 and JNE 3003 to produce a flocculated wastewater.

New solidifying agents convert toxic waste to recyclable material

When applied to a facility’s toxic liquid stream, the nickel is absorbed into the agents’ stabilizing matrix, and the water is absorbed into the polymer. The resulting solution, a gelatinous solid, can be safely and cost-effectively recycled, leading to an estimated 400% cost-savings to the client.

Excellent Caster and Hot Mill Descaling Wastewater Treatment

High pressure descale sprays are critical to the proper performance of continuous casters, roughing mills, and hot mills. These systems run at very high volumes (over 150,000 litres per minute) and very high pressures (3,000 psi). JNE Environmental can evaluate your descale system performance and assess if these improvements are available to your facility.
