Ted Tandon recognized by PEO for Engineering Excellence
The JNE Group is proud to announce that our very own Ted Tandon, P.Eng has been awarded the 2021 Ontario Professional Engineers Engineering Medal for Engineering Excellence. This award recognizes professional engineers in Ontario who have made outstanding contributions to their profession and their community.
DAF unit replacement supports major plant expansion
A local waste oil recycling plant has recently purchased another FS-30 to replace an existing DAF unit to support a major plant expansion. Prior to this purchase they used a JNE Environmental FS-30 DAF to pre-treat their wastewater through the use of JNE 3111C dewatering polymer, and then through the use of JNE 709 and JNE 3003 to produce a flocculated wastewater.
Engineering Wall of Fame Inducts Joe Ng
Joe Ng, the man behind the multi-continent, multi-industry JNE Group of Companies officially inducted into UNB's Engineering Wall of Fame. In 1968, Dr. Ng arrived in Canada to study electrical engineering, spending his first two years at the University of Prince Edward Island and then transferring to UNB to complete his engineering degree.
Ontario award for immigrant employment
Ontario is recognizing the first ever recipients of the Ontario Award for Leadership in Immigrant Employment, for their role in championing diversity and supporting jobs in their communities. Five outstanding recipients from across the province were honoured during a ceremony at the 2013 Ontario Economic Summit in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
