AIST Women In Steel Conference
Representatives of the JNE Group of Companies are attending the AIST Women In Steel Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from September 16–18, 2024. The second annual conference is a two-and-a-half day event supporting recruitment, engagement, and professional development of women in the global steel industry.

Pilot Plant Automation and Upgrades
Continuously looking to improve our products, we identified an opportunity to automate our wastewater treatment pilot plant, reducing the required labour to maintain efficient operation. We also installed mixed reaction tanks below the existing plug flow reactor and made the various chemical reaction systems selectable via a tee branch system.

Cheesy Wastewater Treatment
JNE Environmental was recently approached to investigate performance issues with a Southern Ontario cheese manufacturer’s wastewater pH correction system. Their existing system was not adequately meeting sewer discharge limits and thus a more capable system was required to achieve compliance.
