Due to the potential for foaming caused by the presence of soap, coupled with the requirement for foaming tolerance, a packed column stripper was selected for the separation process.  An FS-120 Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) unit was chosen to remove the TSS and FOG, as well as to reduce the Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD).  The DAF, in conjunction with our engineered chemical solutions JNE 281 (coagulant) and JNE 3003 (flocculant), showed excellent results.

A major North American steel manufacturer needed a pH correction system to neutralize alternating acid and caustic streams generated by the de-ionization plant. JNE Environmental designed and supplied a large batch system that allowed this client to take advantage of the alternating caustic waste and acid, to minimize chemical consumption.

One of the big three automakers contacted JNE regarding a newly developed paint booth water treatment system, looking for someone to build the very first production unit. JNE Environmental has successfully designed and commissioned a new wastewater treatment system for a company that collects and refines used oil. Prior to JNE Environmental’s involvement, the recycling plant was struggling with high phosphate, TKN and BOD levels produced by their existing wastewater treatment process.

After many years of struggling with their wastewater, an egg cracking facility located north of Guelph, Ontario enlisted the help of JNE Environmental to crack their wastewater treatment problem. After performing onsite jar testing and developing, and being presented with a very economically competitive formulation of JNE Environmental’s products, the client purchased an entire wastewater treatment design and processing system.

A local food ingredient manufacturer was having difficulty in getting their wastewater treatment system operating efficiently and was not receiving adequate service from their existing chemical and equipment supplier JNE recommended a retrofit of their DAF pump onto the client's existing DAF unit, and developed a more cost effective chemical formulation using our custom chemical solutions.

One of JNE Environmental’s more challenging clients is a grease trap collection and organic waste processor. Prior to JNE Environmental’s involvement, the client struggled with developing a suitable wastewater treatment process, due to the constantly changing incoming wastewater. JNE Environmental and the client spent many months testing different formulations and dosages before finalizing the system design.

The new containerized wastewater treatment plant (CWWTP) is installed in a former refrigerated shipping container to provide an insulated structure with access doors, roll up doors, heating and ventilation. This container is fully pre-piped and wired with a JNE Environmental controller and can be installed anywhere.

A local food producer was struggling with high levels of phosphate in their wastewater until they commissioned a system redesign by JNE Environmental. JNE spent almost a month custom developing a new product, JNE 2020, which works in conjunction with products JNE 281 and JNE 3003, and is capable of consistently meeting the city sewer bylaw for phosphate discharge.

A local waste oil recycling plant has recently purchased another FS-30 to replace an existing DAF unit to support a major plant expansion. Prior to this purchase they used a JNE Environmental FS-30 DAF to pre-treat their wastewater through the use of JNE 3111C dewatering polymer, and then through the use of JNE 709 and JNE 3003 to produce a flocculated wastewater.
