Deep-Fried Wastewater Treatment
A potato chip manufacturer in the Toronto area approached JNE Environmental to tackle a problem with their oily wastewater. The wastewater from their production lines was packed with starches, fats, oil, and grease; all emulsified with cleaners. This creates a particularly difficult concoction for treatment systems to treat the wastewater to sewer compliance.
Containerized pH Neutralization System Saves the Plants and Keeps Costs Down
JNE Environmental was contacted by a grower in Ontario experiencing major issues with the facility’s wastewater stream pH.  The nature of their production lead to low pH discharge water to the City’s sanitary sewer system resulting in several fines. The Company was facing future letters of non-compliance. They reached out to JNE Environmental for help.
JNE Environmental presents to the Municipal Enforcement Sewer Use Group (MESUG)
Last week, JNE Environmental was invited by one of our customers to present our containerized DAF-based wastewater treatment system to 30 members of the Municipal Enforcement Sewer Use Group (MESUG). This group consists of Municipal Environmental Officers, By-Law Officers, Wastewater Operators, Environmental Technicians, Managers, and Administrators across Ontario.
